Our Story
From service to success: Building a community where veteran entrepreneurs thrive together.
MILCOM Founders grew from deep roots in military service and entrepreneurship. For founder Rod Loges, the connection to veteran entrepreneurship is personal. Both of his grandfathers served in WWII and jointly bestowed upon him his officer bars, passing down a legacy of service and business leadership. Following his service in the Army National Guard, Rod witnessed firsthand how veterans’ unique skills and experiences translate into entrepreneurial success.
Together with his wife Jenn, whose father served as a Navy combat veteran in Vietnam and later became an entrepreneur, they saw a need for a space where military community business owners could connect and support each other’s growth, their shared experiences giving them an instant connection.
Making an Impact in the Military Business Community
Through our monthly forum meetings, podcast conversations, and scholarship program named in honor of Rod’s grandfather Dick Loges, we’re creating opportunities for veteran entrepreneurs to champion each other’s successes and collaborate on challenges. MILCOM Founders embodies the belief that veteran entrepreneurs succeed better together, turning military leadership experience into business impact.
